Miller's SugarBaby

For Sale SOLD
Miller's Sugarbaby and her half-sister Miller's Brandy after a March 2004 hunt.

Born: July, 2003

Sugar (right) and her half-sister Brandy (left) after an enjoyable 3 hour hunt in March, 2004

Nice loud chop mouth.  Approx. 14-3/4”, AKC Registered
Hunts hard. Is quiet in the kennel. Has a great disposition.
Speed: 8 or 9 - she won't be left behind by too many dogs. LP type speed. Well above average nose.
She had quite a few dozen rabbits shot over her near the end of this past season.

She's had many, many hours of handling training. I don't need to use a lead on her in the field - I simply control her with voice commands. She was born here and as with any dog that I train from a young pup, she knows who the boss is and is an enjoyable hunting companion.

Sugar if for sale because she's a bit too aggressive on track for my taste and I'm not the most patient person when it comes to puppy maturing. She's a hard-hitting dog with no real weaknesses, except that she's not too patient yet at a loss. Her full brother Smoky has matured a little more rapidly than she has. Who knows which pup will ultimately turn out the best - that's anyone's guess at this point - but I've got 4 pups that will be ready to start soon and it's time to make a decision about kennel space. You can kill a whole lot of rabbits over her alone or in a pack and probably have a lot of fun at any field trials where a pretty fast dog with a strong nose is rewarded. Many people will go a long time without having as well-rounded a hunting companion as Sugar. If she weren't a well above average 12 month old gundogs she wouldn't have stuck around here this long.

30 day trial to ensure that she's what you want. Money back, if you decide she's not what you want, when you bring her back as healthy as she was when she left. I've got nearby areas to show her in the field and would really prefer that whomever bought her came to see her run. I think anyone will be impressed with her ability. I may later be sorry for the decision to sell her, but I can't keep them all.

Contact us with any questions.

Sugar is out of Miller's Annie's 2003 litter.
